I saw this idea on Pinterest to cut a Christmas Tree out of a pallet and thought it looked like a fun project to do with the kids. It turned out so cute and now we have a lasting decoration to bring out year after year!

I thought I would write a quick post to share my Christmas mantles with you! The first one I did was on the Family room mantle in the same room as the tree. I wanted it to be warm and rustic while accommodating the artwork we keep there year round.
I thought I would share my holiday planters with you!
A couple years ago I went to a craft store the day after Christmas and bought a bunch of dogwood, berries and poinsettias half off to use in my planters. They aren't meant for exterior use but they hold up well-enough to get a few years out of. |
